Danny Spooner, one of Australia’s declared “Living Treasures” has one of the world’s greatest repertoires of folk songs – all in his head!
He’s also a great story-teller with an inimitable, wonderful voice. For this performance he will be joined by Northumbrian Pipe player, Ewan Barker.
The concert will be indoors of course but come along early and bring a picnic in the garden if it’s a nice day. Concert starts at 2.30pm. $20 includes refreshments after the concert.
Last year Danny made two trips to America, performing at the American Embassy, and earlier in April performs with the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
For this concert Danny will be accompanied by Ballarat musician, Ewan Barker, on the Northumbrian Pipes.
